On Mondays, Baptist Health Sports Medicine will have Chelsea Poole at the fields to help with any injury rehabilitation, injury evaluations and any taping that is required.
Baptist Health Sports Medicine brings a strong history of athletic training to the Louisville area based on its years of providing athletic trainer coverage for Oldham, Henry and Trimble county high schools. The company also works with Atherton, Jeffersontown, Assumption, Ballard and Collegiate High Schools in Louisville, all three Bullitt County Schools, both Shelby County Schools, Spencer County High School, as well as the professional soccer team Louisville City FC. Baptist Health Sports Medicine is located in Baptist Health Louisville’s Eastpoint Parkway outpatient center. The 11,000-square-foot sports medicine facility is home to diagnostic technology including digital X-rays, MRI, CT and advanced ultrasound, as well as a physical therapy/training gym, indoor running track, climbing wall and a turf field. Baptist Health Sports Medicine features seven sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons, two sports medicine fellowship trained primary care physicians, physical therapists, sports performance coaches, and Certified Athletic Trainers.
