Video Highlights

It is almost impossible for college coaches to watch every player that writes to him/her, simply because they don't have the time or often the resources to do so. If you are lucky enough to have a college coach come and watch you live, then wonderful. Another way of showing coaches your game is by creating highlight videos. It is important that these are from high level games, against good opposition. There are some differing opinions on what the content should be, but here is our advice:

Game Footage
- About 15 minutes of live, uninterrupted game play from a high level game
- A high camera angle, preferably from a stadium
- A view of the whole field, not just following you (the player)
- Be clear as to which player you are either by stating your position on the field, or using a program to highlight which one you are

Skill Highlights
- From high level games
- Different techniques and parts of your game
- Music if you want (keep it clean!)
- Use a program to highlight you (the player)
- A short introduction either with your information on the screen, or you introducing yourself.
