  • Fun and creative environment
  • Activities and games that introduce soccer skills
  • Tuesday evenings/Saturday mornings
  • Spring April through May, Fall September through October
JUNIORS 6 - 13 years old
  • In-House leagues: Bronze, Silver, Gold
  • Player assignment in divisions according to ages/size/ability to ensure great experience for each player. For most players Bronze ages 6-8, Silver ages 9-11, & Gold ages 11-13
  • Two preseason "play dates" managed by OSC staff coaches
  • Players assigned to teams to create balance
  • Group training once weekly by OSC staff and volunteers "game coaches"
  • Six divisional games for each team
  • Spring late March through May, Fall late August into early November
SENIORS High Schoolers
  • High School age players
  • Teams will play in Jefferson East Youth League
  • Half of games played at OSC and other half in nearby communities
  • 9 players on the field during matches

Q. Where do I register for OSC recreational?

Q. How long are the recreational seasons?
A. The spring season is mid-March thru May. The fall season is mid-August thru October. Refer to the OSC recreational program flyer for season information by age group.

Q. When are practices/games?
A. Mighty Mites sessions are on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Juniors will have one training session during the week with 2 pre-season clinics and 6 division games played on Saturdays. Seniors will play in a travel league (JCYSL) and will play a minimum of 8 games (usually Saturdays/Sundays), half played at OSC Soccer Park and half played at away venues. In some cases, Senior games may be scheduled on other days due to school breaks, holidays, etc. Seniors practice days/times will be determined by the coach..

Q. Where are practices held?
A. All practices are held at the Oldham Soccer Park in Buckner.

Q. What is the cost?
A. Mighty Mites is $85. Juniors and Seniors is $125. The uniform kit is an additional $30 for all age groups. Financial assistance is available. Email Rock Thompson @ .

Q. What's included in the uniform kit?
A. The uniform kit includes a blue jersey, white jersey, blue shorts and blue socks. Players don't need to purchase a uniform kit if they've played the previous season and purchased the kit. New players will need to purchase a kit by designating a size during the registration process. The $30 uniform fee will be added to the account balance during registration.

Q. What equipment does my player need?
A. Shin guards are mandatory for all practices and games. Juniors and Seniors should wear soccer cleats. Mighty Mites can wear soccer cleats but athletic shoes are fine as well.

Q. What size ball will my player need?
A. U4 thru U8 players use a size 3 ball. U9 thru U12 players use a size 4 ball and U13 and older players use a size 5 ball.

Q. What should my player wear/bring to the practice/game?
A. Players should wear their OSC uniform, shin guards, cleats and bring their soccer ball and Water. Players should always have the alternate color jersey at the practice/game.

Q. Can my player participate wearing a cast, earrings, religious medal, etc?
A. Per the Laws of the Game, a player can't wear anything dangerous. With a doctor's permission to play, a player can wear a cast if the entire cast is covered in bubble wrap. Players cannot wear earrings or jewelry of any kind. Religious medals may be worn but will need to be taped for the protection of the player and others.

Q. What if there is inclement weather?
A. The Recreational Director will make a decision, usually by 1 pm, on the day of practice. Cancellations on game day are made as early as possible to give parents sufficient notice. Parents will be notified of a cancellation through the TeamSnap app. Plan to be at Oldham Soccer Park at the designated time if you do not receive a cancellation notice. Soccer is played in the rain, sleet, snow and cold.

Q. I would like to become more involved. What can I do?
A. Oldham Soccer Club is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers. All families are expected to volunteer for the club's fall tournament. In addition, the club has volunteer needs throughout the year that include coaches, tournament committee, volunteer coordinator and board positions.
